Deron Williams on Derrick “Poohdini” Rose - 2010

Hate to put you on blast, Pooh, but you caught one to the grill last night.

NBA players, when you’re already under the goal, do not challenge a guy getting ready to dunk.  Nine times out of ten, it ain’t gon’ be good.

Vince Carter - 2000 Summer Olympics

The celebration may have been a little unnecessary, but this is a pretty amazing dunk.

Submit-a-slam! from Coolfresh: Pippen over Ewing.  It’s a classic and nasty.

We still pray for Patrick Ewing.

Quite honestly, this makes me a little nervous.

One of the best glass-shattering dunks of all-time.

Clyde Drexler over Andre Turner - 1983

Here is a lesser-known Clyde Drexler dunk from his college days at the University of Houston.  Drexler literally jumps over Memphis State’s Andre Turner in one of the most explosive and fierce dunks ever.

Drexler was a proud member of Phi Slamma Jamma, the basketball fraternity at the University of Houston from 1982 to 1984.  Making it to three straight Final Fours, those teams were known for their fastbreak style of play and exhilerating dunks.  Hakeem Olajuwon is another notable member of this fraternity.

More teams need nicknames like this.

Clyde “The Glide” Drexler

This dunk will make you say “oh shit.”  Drexler launches from the corner of the free throw line in a game against the Lakers.  Not bad for a bald guy.

DeAndre Jordan on Theo Ratliff - 2010

DeAndre “No Relation to Michael” Jordan gives Theo Ratliff a forearm to the chest on the way to this powerhouse slam dunk.  The dude that gets really excited on the bench is obviously DeAndre’s best friend on the team and really happy to see his buddy do work.
